With roots dating back to the 1904 World’s Fair, the St. Louis National Charity Horse Show attracts some of the best equestrians and horses to compete in this historic, prestigious horse show. The show takes place each year in September. In 2025, the hunter/jumper show takes place Sept. 10-14, the Saddlebred Fall Kickoff show Sept. 19-20 and the Saddlebred show Sept. 24-27. All sessions of the horse show are free and open to the public.
The St. Louis National Charity Horse Show features several national championships, and each year draws hundreds of horses and exhibitors from across the country. A USEF national-rated competition with one outdoor and two indoor rings, the show will feature a wide range of hunter, jumper, equitation and Saddlebred classes. Over the past three years, the show has donated over $100,000 to local charities, including TREE House of Greater St. Louis, and since the late 1970s, its contributions to local charities have exceeded $1million.
